These are the record industry's sleeve of choice - the thickness provides maximum protection for your record collection - if these hold up and protect a record when in the store in many customer's hands then they definitely will keep your collection pristine!

Summary: Too big and too thin.
Comment: I thought these sleeves were going to be similar to the ones my local record store uses for their merchandise. Boy was I wrong. First off, I thought that the 12 3/4" end was the end with the opening. It's not. So when your albums are sitting on a shelf, there's a huge empty space at the top of the cover. Also, if these are the 3 mil ones, I'd hate to see how thin the 2 mil ones are. My record shop must use 5 mil or something. I would have bought covers from them but they don't sell them individually, just on their albums. Anyway, it's about time for some company to get this right. Someone needs to make a cover that is 12.5" by 12.5" and 5 mil thick. Then I would be happy. Until then, I guess I will have to settle for this junk.

Comment: These see through plastic record album sleeves made of polyethylene are one great product from Square Deal Recording & Supplies! These are sturdy in that they are 3mil thick; and they protect your record albums in their cardboard record album jackets into eternity!
Although they are well constructed and thick enough to provide good protection for your albums; it still is very easy to see everything--even printed details--on the record album jacket. These protect the album against virtually anything--except maybe flash floods!

Just slide in the record album and its jacket--and then keep all of this away from any heat. The cooler and the drier prove all the better for these record album sleeves to protect your albums.
I highly recommend this product for record album enthusiasts like myself. You won't be disappointed.
