Customer Rating: Summary: Good, But Not Better Then "Everready (The Religion)" Comment: I thought Everready was better then MLK. I remember when this CD was released on opening date at the Tech N9ne concert and the host claimed it was 10 times better than Everready. That got me interested in buying the CD. But i admit, the host of the show was wrong! This was only a good decent album, NOT better than Everready! Also, when i listened to this album the first time, most of these songs were not even that good, but after listening to it for awhile, it did grow on me to finally give it a solid 4 star rating. All the hardcore songs for the ladys on this CD was too poppy, the only good track was "Sex Out South." The rest were radio playable. "Midwest Choppers, gangsta Shap, Fan Or Foe, Girl Crazy, You Don't Want It, Message To The Black Man, and The P.A.S.E.O." were the other classic songs on the album. This is mainly just a compilation album but most of the guest on hear honestly was a bad choice. Only good guest were Krizz Kaliko, Dalima, Prozak and Brotha Lynch Hung. They were all talented as usual. Tech N9ne sort of sliped on this album a little. But his verses were still good and unreal. Just different from his past releases. I hate it when they claim this is better then the last album, and when you first play the CD, its not as good as you would of expected. I know i thought "Killer" was Tech N9ne's best album on my other review, but after listening to his older albums and comparing it to "MLK and Killer." Its more poppy. I guess Tech N9ne REALLY wants to be played on the radio. Now I think "Killer" was just a decent album. The best work he has done are "The Calm Before The Storm, The Worst, Anghelic, Absolute Power, Vintage Tech", and even "Everready (The Religion)" was good. But "MLK and Killer" was when Tech sliped just a little bit. MLK is only a suvenior, nothing more.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Comment: I own almost all of his other CDs and I think this might just be his best one. Its a solid collabo CD (no, the other rappers hold their own on this album compared to Tech) so it's not just Tech but it is F**kin amazing!!! The beats are produced way better than most every other track he has made; notably better than just about every track on Everready. And if you're from KC, you'll LOVE P.A.S.E.O.
Customer Rating: Summary: not enough tech n9ne Comment: I'm a huge tech n9ne fan and I was SO excited for this cd to come out. Then... the cd arrived. Tech n9ne is the kind of rapper that just can't do a cameo simply because he makes the other rappers in the song sound like chumps. Sadly, in comparison to tech, the other artists on this cd are lackluster. I'd leave this one on the shelf.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best CD!!! Comment: If you like Rap this CD takes it all!!! And if you never heard of Tech N9ne then you better cry yourself to sleep!!! This is the Number 1 Hottest CD on the Underground Scene!! Don't not miss out on this opportunity to listen to this one!!!!!!!!!!! BUY THIS CD!!!!!!!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Tech has done it again... Comment: Gotta give props to my man...I went to the concert the day of his CD release and he's AWESOME!
I like pretty much all of the songs on the album, but "That Box" "P.A.S.E.O" and "Midwest Choppers" were definitely my favorites!
