Customer Rating: Summary: Great Sound for the Price Comment: For the person that just wants to hear good sound from a cd while trying to do something on the pc, or average sound from a game this is the winning choice. It of course does not compare with higher priced 5.1 channel surround sound. However, for ease of use in a small space you get a mighty sound! Great buy for the money.
Customer Rating: Summary: Terrific Value Comment: While these are not the most powerful speakers you can buy for your computer they are certainly one of the best bargains. They are crystal clear even at high volume. They are small and well suited for a setup with limited available space. The external volume control is quite handy. I'm very pleased with this purchase. If you're looking for a great value on a standard 2.1 speaker set pick these up.
Customer Rating: Summary: Decent Comment: These put out pretty good sound, but if they are turned up too loud, then they will distort and throw some static into the mix. Also, the bass adjustment is on the back of the subwoofer, that I keep on the floor a bit out of the way. The volume control is neat with the dial on top, but it is not as heavy as the wires connected to it, so the wires decide where the control will stay put if they are hanging off the back of the desk. I think I'm going to use these speakers on my auxiliary computer and go back to using my older, bigger ones on my new computer.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good value Comment: I am pleased with the quality of the audio but the maximum volume was less than I expected. Good value for a little over $20.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Speakers for the Price Comment: For $25 these speakers really do the job. The two small speakers are bright and clear, however I went into iTunes and worked with the graphic equalizer to really tweak the sound. Then they really rock.
The woofer cube is quite small but amazingly provides a subtle "bottom end" to the sound. I only have the subwoofer tuned up about half way. The little "break out box" that can be used to control the volume is kinda neat.
The wiring does seem a little excessive but once I parked the sub woofer on the floor, it all made sense.
This unit won't provide the output and bass of a full sized stereo, but it's really quite fine for listening to music while your working on your PC (well, for me a mac mini).
So I'd highly recommend these at the $25 price point. Logitech makes more "heavy duty" speakers near the $100 mark if you need large stereo level sound, but if your looking for a tight contained sound for your PC, this is an excellent buy.
