Comment: I came from a set of $80 speakers, so take my review in that light.
My first impression was that the mids were lacking and overall the sound was pretty flat. After a bit of tweaking of the EQ in my media player, it sounds pretty decent, but I can tell the quality is a bit lower than my other speakers. I'm not sure I like the detached volume control; I'd prefer it on the main speakers, but that's not that big of a deal. You can crank them pretty well too. I think they sound better when they are louder (but doesn't anything?).
For what I paid for these I am happy with them. I would imagine they are a big improvement from any stock set.

Comment: I am very happy with these speakers. These are a huge improvement over my monitor speakers. The volume control module has convenient microphone and headset ports.

Summary: Busted Speaker
Comment: My right speaker busted @ 50% volume while playing the 360. On the third day. I didn't expect this sort of craftsmanship from logitech. Also, I can't find a pair of replacements for these either without buying a whole new set.
update: Logitech blamed my computer as an excuse to refuse to replace my speaker set.

Comment: After my OEM HP speakers gave out, I was on the hunt for some speakers that were relatively cheap. I heard logitech was a great, reliable brand and they were right! After looking at all the competitor's brand in this price range, none could offer this sweet bundle. Once I got it, I hooked up to my laptop and immediately started playing music and truly impressed. Packs alot of power in such small speakers. It doesn't take much space at all. It has the neat little control, to change the volume, headphone and mic slot and on/off switch. The bass is actually good for what it offers. These have great user and professional reviews. You will definitely not regret this purchase. Perfect for college students wanting to Jam, or kids playing their PC games.
