Comment: I just received this as a Christmas present from my fiance and it fits my 17" HP Pavillion just great! Nice, soft interior and padded exterior should afford the protection I want without a lot of extra bulk. Good construction, and as others have pointed out the lining for the zipper seems to do a good job of protecting the finish of the laptop.
