Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Major Music Magazine Comment: This is the best major music magazine there is. Spin and Rolling Stone are more about "lifestyle" than music. Blender is all music. It's smart, witty, and very similar to what you'll get in Maxim, but it's about music more than women. If you get Maxim, you can usually get Blender for free. $10/year is a bargain though.
There are more reviews here than any other major music magazine. More stories. More news. A good read from cover-to-cover. Try it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money Comment: Do not waste your money and order magazines on Amazon. They outsource your subscriptions to a company called Synapse that is a complete nightmare to deal with. I received 2 copies of my sub and after calling to check why was told that I canceled it and a credit was issued. My bank showed no credit and calling back to Synapse was met with a combative no-customer service rep. I didn't take the warning of other users with Amazon mag subs and paid the price. You were warned!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Mag Comment: Blender rocks for its tight witty writing and great photos. It also features a mix of all kinds of music. I'm pretty much a rap fan but Blender has exposed me to artists like Feist I now bump on the regular. Oh- and the movie and video game reviews are surprisingly good for a music magazine
