Well, this monitor blew my socks off. Put it on a MacMini and absolutely perfect. I bought it for my wife, who said her little 20" monitor was ok for her. Now she can't do without it. Highly recommended and the free shipping made it the best buy from all the other vendors.

Comment: Have been doing research of several months. Decided to purchase
this over the ViewSonic VX2835wm 28-inch because of Price and
consistent reviews. Controls take a little to get used to.
However I am very very pleased with every thing. Depth of
picture and clarity are Great.HD works great also. Would
highly recommend.

Comment: I just got it today, and hooked it up this afternoon. After initially having some frustrating problems figuring how to get my new Macbook to view it as an external display (my fault...the Help files explained it all), I got it up and running. After 3 hours of use, I don't think I can ever go back to a smaller monitor now. Not a single dead pixel, thankfully. I set up the brightness/contrast, and RGB values as other reviewers here suggested, and I'm very happy with the result. I don't know how the speakers are, since I use Soundsticks. I was initially going to go with the Apple Cinema Display, but I'm very impressed with the both the quality and price of the HannsG. No complaints here.

Summary: 1920x1200 @ 28" = Perfection
Comment: I purchased three of the 28" Hans-G monitors from Amazon for $450 each delivered. I had been running two 22" Viewsonic monitors, which I was very satisfied with. But more is better, right?
The 1920x1200 resolution is incredible. I tried using some 42" Samsung plasma TV's for monitors (silly me, I got the 720p instead of the 1080p version) and I was not satisfied with them - so now they are TV's on my walls.
I'm a guy that has the means to buy anything he wants. I don't see me upgrading to anything bigger, ever. I think this is the sweet spot. 28" is the perfect size, and 1920x1200 is the perfect resolution.
I use my monitors for multitasking, running a website, writing proposals, etc. For fun, I play Everquest2, spanning all three monitors. The image is truly amazing.
One note, I'm currently running two of the three monitors through the Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition, they have a hard time waking up from sleep on resume. The third monitor is plugged directly in to my Video card (Nvidia 8800), and it wakes up just fine. I'm assuming it's an issue with the TripleHead2Go. I'll probably dump the Matrox TripleHead2Go, and just get another 8800 video card.
Bottom line: You can't go wrong if you want a big computer monitor. This is THE monitor to have.

Summary: Great Monitor!
Comment: I bought this monitor a few weeks ago and it has been great. I've been using it for both my computer and an XBOX 360. The picture is really amazing. So far there is only one thing about the picture that hasn't been great and that is that the top of the monitor is darker when it is above eye-level. The only way to solve this is have it on a desk where it's not over your head at all. Also, if you are sitting back watching a movie you don't see it. It is only when you are sitting right next to it and it's above eye-level. Other than that everything seems prefect and gives great bang for the buck. The built in speakers are a bit weak (I have been using them with my XBOX) but there is audio out so if it is that much of a problem for you the solution is simple.
