Part of Rachel Ray's stylish stainless-steel cookware line, this handy 3-quart shallow saucepan is sure to stay in the daily rotation for all kinds of small to medium cooking tasks. Stainless steel heats quickly and evenly, and the aluminum-capped base adds both energy efficiency and improved heat retention. Plus, the metal doesn't react to acidic foods, resists corrosion and scratches, and cleans easily with just a sponge. The pan's curvy shape, with an ample cooking surface, slightly tapered neck, and flared rim, also helps to hold in moisture and flavors, then pours tidily when the food is ready. For cool, sturdy transport, the double-riveted stick handle is arched high and covered with grippy orange silicone that's oven-safe to 400 degrees F. The glass lid keeps the chef informed on what's happening inside, and the high handle protects fingers from the heat. Comment: Excellent product and works great. Very stylish and sturdy. I own three of rachel ray's cookware pieces: the pasta pot, 1 quart sauce pan, and this. I'm very happy with all three (though the 1 quart sauce pan should come with a lid). Excellent buy all around.

Comment: I love the pan, However after using it the first time, it got funny little spots like water spots on the bottom that won't even scour off.
It's still a good pan, but none of my other pans have ever done that.

Comment: This cookware is of such good quality, heavy gauge aluminum, even heating, and I love the glass lid as it is easy to see the contents. I purchased two of these saucepans and have another order coming with the
6 qt. Deep Saute Pan. Completely satisfied and would recommend this to anyone.

Comment: I just received this pot and after using it have ordered another for a gift. The weight and balance is great. I love the glass lid too. Orange wasn't my color of choice, but I can live with it. The pot handle stays cool to the touch, no need for a pot holder. The handle on the lid did get a bit warmer than I expected. I bought this to replace a pot with nonstick coating that has been around for a while. No more of that nonstick stuff for me again. Stainless is the only way to go. Cleans like a dream. If needed, a tiny bit of Barkeepers Friend will take care of anything.
