Summary: Good monitor at a reasonable price
Comment: I have my own business and I bought this monitor as an extended display for my laptop. I use it every day for editing files and testing code. I have been using it for about 4 months and I am quite happy with it. Here's why:
-- It has good resolution.
-- The size is very nice for looking at several documents, especially in conjunction with my laptop screen.
-- The angle of the screen is adjustable to accommodate people of different heights.
-- It is reasonably priced.

Summary: Monitor that provides clear display
Comment: I recently purchased 2 of these monitors when the price dropped at $160. The shipping saved me $40 for both monitors when I placed my order via Amazon compared to purchasing it directly from Tiger Direct. They shipped both monitors to my FPO military address (which was a big help). I used the DVI to HDMI cable which works great. I used separate powered speaker for better sound. This monitor provides a sharper image than my Vizio 32" HDTV when used as a secondary monitor especially whenever we watch a DVD movie. This is a good upgrade from my 17" dell monitor. It provides less eye strain compared to the smaller monitors. I use this primarily for web browsing and photo editing with Adobe especially when using higher resolution or larger mega pixel pictures. My son uses his as a secondary monitor for his laptop and to play his XBOX 360. His eyesight has been getting bad lately since his laptop monitor is too small. I decided to get him a larger monitor since kids nowadays spend more time with their computer and TV. This is not a fancy monitor like the Samsung, but if you are a practical guy like myself, this monitor delivers the quality and value.

Comment: I just got this monitor - bought it used from someone off of Craigslist but as a heavy Amazon shopper, I wanted to give my feedback here for others considering buying one.
This Hanns-G monitor is absolutely stunning - the picture is crisp and clear, colors look great - it is lovely overall and I am thrilled with it. It would be well worth the money brand new. I have looked at a lot of my pictures on this monitor to really see how it displays colors and images and the quality is superb - crisp, accurate colors, sharp text, simply excellent overall.
If you are considering purchasing this monitor, do so with confidence - it gives a fantastic picture at a heck of a price.
After shopping around a LOT and researching different LCD monitors and TVs I have come to the conclusion that you should simply get what fits your budget and has the features you want - no current monitor or TV that I've seen give truly bad pictures and you can only tell a difference in picture when you have multiple screens right next to each other - which clearly is not the case in your home.
Even when they are juxtaposed, none seem "better" than any other - just slightly different.
I digress.....if you are looking for a crisp, clear 22" monitor at a fantastic price, you can purchase this Hanns-G with confidence.
