The Roomba iRobot 410 Vacuum Cleaning Robot is not only easy-to-use, but it also includes an array of intelligent convenience features. Simply press the Clean button and the vacuum's artificial intelligence determines the room size and adjusts automatically from wood, tile, linoleum and low-to-medium pile carpet. Integrated sensors detect dirt and increases intensity of cleaning in that area. Comment: My Roomba has become part of the family. While the cats don't ride on it as some of the YouTube videos show, they also don't run for the hills when I turn it on. They do seem fascinated with it but so far peace reigns between robot and felines. This alone makes Roomba the best thing for keeping the house clean. It has done very well on the cat hair and keeping the areas near the cat boxes clean. With cats I recommend cleaning the brush, roller, the side brush and all the bearings every time you run it for the first week or so. Roomba cleaned places that I couldn't reach but the cats loved and there was a surprising amount of fur picked up for that first week. After that the general maintenance from the product information seems sufficient because it is keeping everything clean rather than allowing fur to accumulate. My dust allergies seem greatly improved since Roomba is able to clean every day without sending the cats into a panic. For the first time I'm able to have a house that is as clean as if I had a maid!

Comment: The roomba is an indespensible item in my home. I am 50% disabled and roomba has been a Godsend for me. It cleans thoroughly, it's quiet. We love it.
The first one that arrived was DOA...wouldn't start. I attribute this to rough handling during shipment. I called Amazon and they replaced it immediately with zero hassle. I had my new one in two days.
I had also ordered a scooba...but it reported a pump malfunction. I didn't replace the scooba...but Amazon instantly refunded my money on it.
Amazon customer service is exemplary. I love the product...and I'll order everything I can from Amazon from now on..I am that impressed.

Comment: We got our Roomba over a year ago, and we love it. I've waited all this time because I'd heard bad reviews, and that it broke frequently etc. But this little guy has taken all the pet hair we could throw at it and come out victorious. Yes, we have 3 "inandout" dogs, one of which has skin issues. That makes for a lot of pet hair. We do have to frequently clean the brushes, but no big deal! I've noticed a big difference in how much dust we have on the furniture too.
Best of all, my HUSBAND loves Roomba too, and uses it more frequently that I do even! I think he thinks of it as another pet, at any rate he calls it when it gets "lost". LOL
I'd buy it again in a second.
