Customer Rating: Summary: Under no circumstances should you buy an iPaq 111 Comment: What a colossal disappointment. I chose this HP iPaq 111 after years of using Palm products. I heard very good things about it. Regrettably, good reports were exaggerated. The iPaq is much more cumbersome to enter dates in. It will not sync with Outlook on your desktop. Apparently, this is a new development. If you value having a back up and entering data on the desktop, this is not the product for you.
Customer Rating: Summary: IPAQ 111 ROCKS Comment: HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld (FA979AA#ABA)
This is my first pocket PC. I bought this at Amazon, quick delivery and amazingly easy to setup. It has everything I need to get going, my Outlook files are perfectly synchronized and i can use just like my desktop. I added a 16Gb SDHC card and edited the registry to direct my mail to be stored on it, FANTASTIC, now I have a copy of ALL my mails in its original folder structures. I also have a backup of all my frequently accessed files from my PC. I love this thing. So much more "tweakable" than an itouch with all the features you will love.
Customer Rating: Summary: compatibility issues with Mobile Windows 5.0 Comment: Hey,
you've read the reviews. small form factor, sexy, sleek. I like it alot for all the features. However, the program I am trying to run will not work on Windows Mobile 6.0. So I am gonna sell this baby off and get something else with Windows Mobile 5.0.
Customer Rating: Summary: Known as the 112 in Ausralia Comment: I have owned one of these for the past 6 months.
Despite initial problems with startup, after the retail shop replace it for a new one, it hasnt missed a beat.
I read all of my books on it and have over 600 ebooks on my 2GB card.
Battery life is about 16 hours continuous use.
Wifi is great but it is hard to use the internet due to the screen proportions.
Overall a great product which replaces the non existant Kindle (not available in Australia).

Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: The product works great. I'm transitioning from Palm to Pocket PC so I do have some grips about the Windows Mobile OS but the device itself works good and does more then my Palm.
The hardware is small and fits good in my pocket but I wish the alarm was louder and had a vibrating alert. The screen is vibrant and is good for viewing pictures. I've only viewed short video clips and they look good but I'm not sure how it will hold up with the dark and bright screens from movies..
My grips with the Windows Mobile OS are:
The calender does not all you to view a full 24 hour period on the screen same with a week view you need to scroll up and down to see all the details. I wish the alarms were more customizable as far as how often they beep on alerts.
