Customer Rating: Summary: Adore the colors, can't get the brush to work Comment: I absolutely love the colors in this set. I can't say enough how nice they look. However, the brush, which is half the point of buying these kits, just does not work for me. The 'v' side, at least, always manages to go completely off-track and does not look anything like what I imagined I was doing when I started applying the powder. I'm sure it's just me being incompetent, but still. These sets are supposed to be "tutorials"- meaning they are made for the non-expert. I do like the other side of the brush and use it often.
Short story- Love the colors, hate the brush. Do with this advice what you will. I'm not a heavy makeup wearer so this appealed to me cause of the brush shape, but it was too large for my eyelid. The shades of the eyeshadows are pretty, but all in all it's very overpriced. Comment: the colors are nice but the v-brush it comes with is so dumb. i think it just depends on your eye shape and size and so it doesn't work for everyone. what i suggest is going on youtube and searching for smokey eyemakeup tutorials..they have some good ones and some will make suggestions on good brushes to buy. but this v-brush thing is just a waste of money.
