Summary: Great item, but not completely necessary...
Comment: This item works very well. It leaves less froth/foamy surface when you make the drink.
I have been using this to make my protein shakes, which include whey protein powder, milk, and ice cream. Every now and then I will add some fruit or syrup (caramel or chocolate). It blends everything together very well.
I would only say that it is not SUPERB or AMAZING as to the job it can do when making the shakes. It still leaves a little frothy/foam on the top...but not as much as a regular blade.
PROS: Cheap, gets the job done, looks fancy
CONS: Not extremely necessary to make milk shakes.
SUMMARY: Only purchase if you have the spare cash to spend on it. I would not label this item as a pure necessity for milk shakes. But it does do a nice job.

Comment: This blade makes a much better milkshake than the blade that came with my blender. Perfect texture and consistency every time. I am so glad I bought it.

Comment: This blade may be fine for making milk shakes with ice cream and fruit, but if you plan to make protein shakes with ice cubes tossed in, use the original blade for this blender. This Milkshake Blade just won't do the job, and you'll have chunks of ice floating in your shake. I made a shake using milk (Silk, actually), soft banana, protein powder, and small ice cubes and this blade couldn't handle the job. Disappointing.

Comment: Great product! Really beats the regular blender blade in making milkshakes. Not only is the product better, but it saves time because you don't have to keep stirring to mix ice cream and milk.

Comment: I was disappointed that you can only make one little milkshake at a time for it to work properly. Even after following the recipe specifications in the box, my milkshake was not super smooth. Not worth it, in my opinion.
