Customer Rating: Summary: Great sun protection Comment: My 5 1/2 month old baby is very fair skinned. This product was perfect for "swimming" in Grandma's pool. There are two snaps on either side of the toy so that the canopy can be adjusted to the direction of the sunlight.
The attached toys make this toy a lot more interesting than the $14.99 version sold at a big box retailer. Customer Rating: Summary: Fun in the pool, in the shade! Comment: Okay, forget the "activity center"....that thing just gets in the way of interacting with the child. Throw away the sponge-like floating toys that come with the activity center....they just get pieces bitten off by the child. Now, enjoy the floating ring, put the shade on and pop the kid inside. Fun, fun, fun. You can spin her/him, take trips around the pool - zoom, zoom - and have both arms free to wipe away the water drips and drops as others splash around. A big hit at our house. I'm just sorry the visit was so short and our 11-month-old granddaughter had to go back home. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Pool Float!! Comment: My husband and I recently purchased this float for our 3 month old son and he LOVES it! We live in Florida, so finding a pool float with a canopy was a must! Also, our son loves to be constantly entertained and the toys that attach to the float keep his attention very well. Since he can't sit up yet, he sort of flops back in the float, so until he can support himself fully we have to hold his head out of the water. (Not that his head would ever be fully submerged, he just looks uncomfortable) It's a little tricky to figure out how to fold it up and stuff it back in it's carrying pouch, but it's totally worth it! He's 4 mos old and 16.5 lbs and fits in it fine. The canopy is easy to use and the snaps on it can be used to dangle his ring-a-links. While we were swimming, he was so comfy in the float, he actually fell asleep reclined back. I'd definitely recommend this product.
