Comment: I've been on a quest for the perfect mascara, and purchased a full size of this mascara. From reading the other reviews, it seems that people had better luck with the sample sizes (it's strange, but I've noticed with many mascaras that samples are better. It's like companies lure you in with samples, but full size ones are never as good).
Definicils gave me the length, but made my lashes look extremely thin. No volume whatsoever. Clumping was minimal, but this was the only mascara that actually stained my fingers when I was taking my make-up off.

Summary: Great Mascara - sample size is awesome!
Comment: I don't use make up often so the expiration date is a problem. I LOVE getting the sample size give-away when I purchased my Lancome foundation. Mascara always dries up and gets clumpy 3-6 months after I open it and I've only used it 1-2 dozen times. The sample size is plenty generous for the likes of me!
Meanwhile, if things weren't bad enough, I'm allergic or chemically sensitive to many ingredients. The Lancome mascara has been easy to wear, doesn't irritate my eyes, easy to remove, no flaking or clumping. The sample size also has a very short brush so it's a snap to apply.
In the unlikely event that I become a habitual makeup user, this mascara is on the top of my list.

Summary: Oh my wow!
Comment: I got a free goodie bag for spending $29.50, and in it was a little sample size of the High Definition mascara. If I could afford $21 for mascara every 3 months, I'd do it (this trip to the Lancome counter was a treat from my grandparents, I cannot afford nice makeup like this). This mascara is out of this world. No clumps, astronomical lengthy eyelashes....I couldn't stop batting them while I looked into the mirror. Lots of people commented on how dramatic and gorgeous they looked. My eyelashes are naturally blonde and very hard to define, and this product works amazing!
