Summary: not so good
Comment: This Zen 2GB media player was not so good as I expected. It was imposible to listen for whole albome in time because it was seeing only one song in a time, only in shufle regime you can listen all songs in a folder. I had very cheap MP3 players before and they were better then this one.

Summary: Pricey Paperweight
Comment: The Creative Zen was working completely fine, until i realized 200 MB was taken up by the songs and audio books that came with it. I deleted the songs, and moved onto spoken word. I deleted the genre spoken word, because it was an option in the genre menu. When i deleted it, It said "deleting...1" and worked its way up to 8, at which point it froze. I left it overnight, and the next morning it was completely dead, a useless hunk of plastic.

My 11yr old son loves it and to be honest, for the money, I have an IPOD and would just as soon have purchased this for well under $100-
Excellent screen colors & size, menu is much easier for beginner, particularly compared to an IPOD. Would purchase again.

Comment: This is an awesome little player for the price. Fairly easy to navigate, great size, fits in any pocket, loud enough for the gym. Anyone who needs more memory - just buy an extra SD card, or even several of them (they are getting cheaper by the day). A nice feature I thought I'd never use was the picture viewing. If you put the pictures on a SD card, the player does a very neat slideshow. Now I don't have to carry a photo album with my kids' pictures, if anyone asks I just turn on the player instead.
All that said, I don't use it to watch movies, because everything has to be converted in order to play (and the process takes a while, although everything is very straightforward), and the resolution is not very high. so, for the movie buff i would recommend something like Archos, or Cowon (which are bigger, heavier, more sophisticated, and also a lot more expensive)

Summary: Nice product but still needs work.
Comment: The player plays great. Pros. It is easy to transfer stuff to. I have listen to Audio books, Music, Tv show and veiwed pictures using it. The sound is great and you can stop it and pick up right where you left off. Also has an SD card slot you you can have even more disk space. The cons might seem like as lot but I really do like this player. The battery life is only about 3 to 4 hours watching video. When using the SD slot your system doesn't pick it up as a file in the system unless you import it meaning you can't book mark anything on the SD card. Some times system hangs up when you are disconnectiong from the computer.Converting video takes awhile plus system must be connected to the computer to start converting file once strated you can remove it. also I would make sure you buy the protective case that they sell. They should have given you one with it I felt. So if your looking for a cheap version of an Video Ipod then this way to go. Wouldn't reccomend it for younger kids not as durable as the IPOD.
