Customer Rating: Summary: B95 Review Comment: I have had the BeerTender B95 for 3 weeks and love it. The B95 was a big hit at a pool party I had last weekend. The unit is very easy to use just make sure you pre-chill your 5L keg or purchase the keg chilled due to the time it take the B95 to chill form room temp. about 10hrs. I personal like Heineken but it would be good to see other beer makers offer a 5L keg for the unit. (Samuel Adams hint hint)
Customer Rating: Summary: Very nice but ..... Comment: I really like this item. There are a few things that are a let down though. Pouring is very difficult. Every pour I had ended up being a complete glass of "head". I was at a friends house and his girlfriend used to be a bartender and she was only able to pour about 1/4 beer 3/4 head from this machine. Once it settles the beer tastes great.
Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful machine but... Comment: I have had the B95 model for about 3 weeks. I absolutely love everything about it except 1 thing. I have the temp set on 36 degrees and my very accurate instant read thermometer says the actual temp it's drawing at is 38.9. (into a cool but not chilled in the freezer beer glass) I'm wondering if I'm the only one who has actually tested that. The display reads that it is set at 36 and that the drinking temp is 36...but, it pours at 38.9.
I called Amazon and they are shipping me a new one and I'll keep you posted.
Please, anyone with a B95 and a good thermometer check your temp and let me know.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love it! Comment: I REALLY love this thing... but it might make drinkin in the middle of the day a bit too easy. :P
Customer Rating: Summary: Worth Every Penny!! Comment: I got the beertender for father's day and I have to say it is a great product. The beer gets chilled at 36 degrees and it is nice! Pouring the perfet beer takes some practice but this is the fun part. The only drawbacks are: Time it takes to cool the beer. For a keg at room temperature it would take anywhere from 12 to 18 hours depending on the preset temperature you choose. The other drawback I would say is the need to buy beertender tubes. The tubes have to be replaced every time you tap a new keg. But this is not a big deal - the tubes only cost $3.99 for a bag of 10 tubes.
Overall, I love this machine. Two thumbs up to Heineken!!!
