Comment: Straight forward, fast and does what it is suppose to. I also like the usb power, it makes it nice to have such a large capacity portable.

Summary: Doesn't work with the Macbook Air (MBA)
Comment: Doesn't work with the MBA. Something to do with insufficient power supply probably. Toshiba help wasn't too useful - they have a standard reply for this by replacing the USB cable with one that has 2 heads on the computer side to increase the power. Even when I tell them that the Air only has 1 USB port, they insist to solve the problem with a 2 head USB wire. They should read customers' emails properly and reply accordingly.
Other brands like Lacie work fine on the MBA.
The Toshiba works in the Macbook Pro though..

Comment: I have been using this product for 2 months. Price is little above the average however it worths the premium. I bought it as a backup source for my mac. It is working perfect so far.

Comment: I've had the external hdd for a few weeks now and its worked great. Its quiet and kept itself very cool. My only problem with it is the outside scratches easily, but its only cosmetic damage. Otherwise I will probably buy another once this one is full!
