Editorial Reviews:

Nearly a decade after the release of their groundbreaking debut, The Sickness, Disturbed have become one of the most respected bands in the hard-rock universe thanks not only to pummeling riffs and jackhammer beats but passionate insights into our troubled times. Three platinum-plus albums—Believe and Ten Thousand Fists charted #1—have led to Indestructible, the group's darkest, angriest outing yet.

Summary: I don't know what to say for this...really
Comment: I listened to this album and I must tell you this is not metal at all. It's hard rock with some poppy choruses. This is their worst to date. I don't get it, every album has the same vocal arrangements on them. I see he tried to change the vocal arrangements here a little but failed. It reverts back to the same stuff. It's not very creative at all which is a shame because this guy can sing with the best of them. His voice is amazing but if you own one of their albums then you own them all. It's like listening to the same song over and over again. I listen to all types of music (Check all my reviews if you don't believe)and I still don't get this bands appeal. I try to like them but the music is just boring along with the singing arrangements. What passes for good rock these days is really alarming to me. Where is the variety????????????

Summary: I love this CD!
Comment: I am a huge Disturbed fan, I have all of their CDs and this one is the best. There isnt a song on there that I dont like. It is fast paced and heavy.

Summary: Wow!
Comment: All I can say is wow! Disturbed turned it up a notch with this effort. David Draiman one of the best singers out there. I especially like The Night and Inside The Fire, but all of the songs are great. The lyrics for Inside The Fire are amazing and you can definitely feel the pain that David Draiman went through with the death of his ex girlfriend. The Night shows off Draiman's singing ability which is very underrated. Some people judge a CD before even listening to it especially the one's who say ape man and blah blah bla like that. Disturbed has evolved into one of the best bands out there in rock. I'm glad that I got the CD and one day I hope to see Disturbed live.

Summary: More of the Same... Except Better!
Comment: The new Disturbed CD, titled Indestructible shows a Disturbed that is even more polished and driven than the one we knew and loved in Ten Thousand Fists. The songs are absolutely relentless in a way they've never been before. There are no new tricks in this album, but there is a definite development of old ones.

They've gotten really good at implementing rhythms that contrast with the meter. They do this better in this album than they ever have yet to this point.

David's voice has been developing more and more into an instrument, rather than merely a means to put words to music. His voice has always been an integral part of their overall sound in a way that is rarely accomplished by rock bands (or any kind of musical group for that matter) because of his perfect pitch and because you can hear several overtones which makes his voice blend in well with the electric guitars and bass.

This album is not anything new for these guys, but it is part of a continued improvement to what they already have, which has been pretty steady throughout their careers (with the possible exception of their second album, Believe, which mostly sucked (except, of course, for the songs Prayer and Rise, which are arguably their two best originals to date)).

So expect more of the same from this album, but expect it to be better than ever.
