Comment: this is a gorgeous lighter, this is not a 'black' lighter, it is 'black ice' have you ever seen black ice on the bike trail? dont ride or step on it cuz you will fall down, it looks wet with a deep black stain that is three dimensional just like real 'black ice' i bought the lighter that says zippo because zippo has such a rich tradition. in vietnam i took a zippo off a dead enemy, it had a lanyard ring on it and he was wearing it around his neck. i have never seen that model since then, i lost it long ago but would like to find a replacement.

Comment: This is a wonderful lighter. As it sais in the description Black Ice is the term for dark chrome, and that is exactly what you get. A beautiful dark chrome colour that is sure to stand out.
With everything else you get the quality and practicality that has made zippo famous. I would recommend buying the Zippo Gift Kit, Fits Regular Size Lighter,***Lighter not Included*** 50R zippo gift kit, it includes genuine zippo lighter fluid and 6 more flints. This is especially handy as the lighter itself comes empty and with regular use you will need more flints over time, as for the wick it should last for years.
Overall it is a wonderful lighter with the value and quality expected from zippo, not to mention the wonderful life time guarantee.

Summary: Nice but to Silver
Comment: I thought the lighter was really nice. It deffinatley has a nice shine and black tint. I thought the picture makes the lighter look alot blacker then the lighter really is. It's almost all silver with a haze of black.
