Summary: Good for the price.
Comment: Quality is not the best, but for the price it is good. I initially had a number of issues with the connection, but it seems to run well now. Overall, good for the occasional webcamer.

Comment: This webcam is better than I expected it to be. It has good resolution for such a low price, and it was easy to setup and start using. I use Yahoo messenger to make video calls and it works ok. Some days it works great and some days it does not. I attribute the bad days to high internet activity. When it works well, the picture is good and the microphone is great. I had few problems with setting up the camera and the software. The resolution is not as good as the high end products, but reasonable for the price. I have found there are connection problems that are connection related and any product would suffer quality with that situation.
I found it a quick and relatively painful way to enter the video conferencing world.

Comment: The instructions were very straight forward. Comming from a computer illiterate very easy to set up and use. I have been using this camera to talk to family overseas for about a month and no problems. Highly recommend it.

Comment: This is the fourth webcam for me (in addition to the ones I've bought as gifts). At the office, I have a Microsoft VX-3000; I got the VX-5000 to replace a Logitech I had been using on my laptop. It is much smaller than I expected, but it gets the job done. Compared to my others, the picture is a slight bit grainier, but even in fairly low and contrasty light, it compensates beautifully and provides a clean, colorful picture with well-balanced contrast. Loading the program and setting it up was a snap.
I am impressed. I plan to take it with me to Europe (it's small enough to fit with its cord in a half-sandwich bag) and use it from Internet Cafes to keep in touch with my secretary via Skype.
For the money, it meets all my expectations. Buy it!

Summary: Works well, sometime a delay
Comment: Great picture quality and audio quality. Sometimes when using Skype the video is delayed but the audio is not, which makes it a little weird. I'm not sure if that is the webcam or my computer though. The clip on the back is perfect to hang it on my monitor and easy to adjust left-to-right. Good product!
