Summary: Easy way to a hard workout
Comment: Using this product in conjunction with the Perfect Pull Up produced a quick but strenuous abdominal workout. Set up time was less than two minutes including removing the product from the box, removing the plastic from the straps, taking the pull up handles off the Perfect Pull Up bar and installing the ab straps! Installation could not be easier! And the workout is great. Following the moves on the workout poster (included) gives you a complete abdominal workout without the neck pain associated with crunches!

Summary: bad product
Comment: This product is supposed to mimic the Captian Chair which is a very effective device. The ab straps fall very short of being anything like a captian chair. First off you support yourself with the pads on your triceps. This is awful, because if you work out your arms they are already sore and it doesn't feel comfortable at all. The REAL captian chair you support yourself with your forearm and it has a back stabilizer. This product doesn't have a back stabilizer so if your not doing them very controlled you start to swing back and forth which makes it not nearly as effective. My skin also got irritated on the straps near my armpits. Being an ACE Certified Trainer I can tell you that the two most effective excercises are a Captians Chair and a Bicycle Maneuver. If this device encourages you to exercise then it isn't a waste of money, but it will never compare to a Captians Chair. BTW a Bicycle Maneuver is also known as a Bicycle Crunch and it is very effective, best of all you don't even need equiptment to do it with... its free!

Summary: Not Great.
Comment: My ab straps DID NOT come with the metal carabiners shown in the ad pictures, so in order to put the straps on the bar, you have to DISCONNECT the whole bar from the brackets each time, a big PITA! Evidently the carabiners are a bit expensive, so they've deleted them and now show the ab straps in a closeup picture, not showing how they attach to the bar. Unfortunately, they didn't lower the price, though. Also, if you are taller than about 5'4", and you mount the PP frame in a standard door frame, you'll hang so low using the ab straps that your feet are dragging on the floor, even with your knees bent. Interesting idea, poorly executed.

Summary: Excellent, but keep it steady!
Comment: The Perfect Abs Strap works great, but you do need to stay disciplined and focused when using it. As long as you keep it slow and steady you can achieve a maximum work out, but maybe not look like the photo!
