These swimming sweaters meant we could go into the pool and play and have fun. We swam daily. That was 25 years ago. Now I buy these for my grandkids!My husband has spent 30 years taking care of a university pool and has seen it all for bouyancy devices. Wonderful time tested product. A secondary blessing is you can actually take your child potty without taking them off.It is impossible to peel kids out of one piece wet sticky floatation suits fast enough. This is a HUGE plus to me-did I mention my husband likes a clean pool? I started my kids in the pool at age 6 weeks and added swimming sweaters at age 2. Superior product. Do not expect these to last more than 3-5 years with lots of use. This is not a hand-me-down item. Chlorine is hard on fabric and rubber. Also, remeber to start your kids wearing goggles for the UV protection.
