Customer Rating: Summary: Poor sound quality Comment: I have owned Jabra headsets in the past that I have always been very pleased with. Which is why I ordered this new headset without doing a lot of research, that was my mistake. Callers have a very hard time hearing me when I am using this headset, the mic is awful. I would not recommend this product at all, it was a waste of $30 bucks.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sucks bigtime! Comment: This is a bad product. 30 bucks down the drain for me. Guess what....i cant even return this due to the seller's return policy.
Horrible sound quality, for the caller and receiver both. I used it to call t-mobile customer service and almost got signed up for an unlimited minutes plan which was not I called for, as the rep was barely able to hear and understand me.
Actually I read the customer reviews and it felt like a 50/50 decision. Next time, I swear I will read the reviews more carefully and buy only if the product has atleast 4 stars consistently.
Customer Rating: Summary: Ok item Comment: This is an alright item. If you leave it in the car it heats up and doesn't work at all and it has a lot of static if there are trees around, but over all it does what I need it to do. It's nothing fancy, but it's ok
Customer Rating: Summary: Jabra's Behind-the-Ear Line Continues Decline Comment: I've owned five Jabra behind-the-ear headsets and belong to that group of Bluetooth earpiece users who feel that it is the most discreet design on the market, particularly if the user of the device is fortunate enough to have hair on their head... in that instance, the bulk of the unit disappears entirely, leaving only the earpiece reaching around from above the ear, and the boom jutting out from below the earlobe.
People are frequently surprised to realize that I am wearing an earpiece, which should be considered an accomplishment for the product's form.
I mean!!
Most of the other headsets out there make you look as if you've glued a toy racecar to the side of your head!!
Unfortunately, I must agree with all the other reviewers who complain of this device's sound quality. The BT2020 is, without a doubt, the most complained-about Bluetooth headset I have ever operated (by my callers, particularly if I am in windy places or while I am traveling at highway speeds). Some people have found the sound quality so unacceptable that they request that I call them back from a landline.
An additional complaint I have with Jabra's evolution of this particular product type is that the control buttons have become smaller and smaller, with reduced functionality. It's great that the battery life has been extended significantly, but compare the design of the BT2020 to the old 250 and you'll see the removal of buttons that were easy to locate without removing the device from your ear... and by the time the BT2020 rolled around some buttons were gone entirely.
In closing, I must express my astonishment at the inattention Jabra has given this very unique product line. None of the other manufacturer's efforts to tackle this design have come away with anything as comfortable or sturdy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good discreet headset Comment: This is a good headset that can barely be seen, so people may think you are talking to yourself.
It connects easily and reconnects itself after being out of range. The advertised range may be a bit of a stretch though.
The only downside is that it picks up quite a bit of background noise.
Overall, I really like it, and use it a lot.
