This versatile basket is based on our popular 133 basket but uses a more robust fitting (3033) that bolts onto your handlebar. The mount offers greater clearance between the bar and basket for shifters, cables, and brake levers. Available in white (3133WH) or gloss black (3133GB) powder coat finishes. You have to attach the U shaped bar support or the basket is not sturdy enough. Otherwise, it is perfect. I carry my big Mom purse, water bottle and an extra pair of shoes in it. One tip is to wrap a bungy cord on top of the basket once you have filled it. I learned this the hard way. My shoes flew out when I went over a curb. OH, and I saw this same basket at a bike shop for $30 plus tax.. I bought it here for $16. including shipping. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Basket Comment: I absolutely love my basket. In addition, it was incredibly difficult for me to pull the basket out of the carrier to take with me. I opted to go to my local bike store and purchase a different wire-mesh basket that I am far happier with. It slides into a carriage and has large red buttons so that I can adjust the angle it sits at and release it from the carriage. All in all, I would not recommend the Wald Front basket.
