Customer Rating: Summary: The SinuPulse helped me immediately. This is the best irrigation treatment I have used. Great product and customer service Comment: After suffering with my sinuses for many years and an endless supply of drugs and nasal sprays I decided to try nasal irrigation. After reading Dr. Ivker's book, Sinus Survival about the benefits of pulsating irrigation and how it is the most effective method for nasal irrigation I purchased a SinuPulse which he recommends. Within just a few days of using it I felt better than I had in years.
The $97.00 I paid is by far the best money I've ever spent. When I consider the thousands I have spent on drugs and sprays I only wish I had found it sooner. I have since ordered a second one for a family friend and would recommend it to all those allergy and sinus sufferers out there. It is a little miracle.
On a side note, I contacted the manufacturer to order extra sinus tips and they offered to send a couple at no charge. They even spent time with me pointing out facts in their user guide I overlooked about how I could make my own saline with just regular non iodized table salt and water and that you can use any saline product with the SinuPulse. With the tough economy and money tight I really appreciated their honesty and generosity. I personally like the SinuAir saline packets that come with the SinuPulse better and they are convenient but I liked that they were not all about just selling tons of saline packets like the other guys. Really great customer service which is a miracle itself in this day and age.
Customer Rating: Summary: The unit got problem after a week of use Comment: The unit got problem after a week of use. Water leaks from the bottom of it. Amazon.com replaces it in 3 days. The QA of the product is so-so but the service of Amazon.com is very good.
The reason that I don't want the refund but just the replacement is because I really feel good in nose when I use it, twice a day.
Customer Rating: Summary: SinuPulse as good as advertised Comment: After messing around with the neti pot for 6 months and feeling a little better I decided to trade up to one of these powered irrigators. I liked that the SinuPulse has both a pulsating mist spray and pulsating rinse but even more important for me was the 2 year extended warranty. The Hydropulse has too many problems reported with it and $100.00 is a lot of money for me so I needed a irrigator that was guaranteed to last a couple of years. Its only been a little over a month but my constant sinus headaches and morning congestion have almost entirely cleared up and I am breathing and sleeping so much better. It really is a lot easier to use than the neti pot and not as messy. Amazon has the best service too.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works well, design can be improved Comment: After struggling for a month with a sinus infection, I decided that my bulb suringe was not doing much, NetiPot was too low tech, and bought the SinuPulse. The first use was rough, ewww, something is pumping water up my nose, and it is going everywhere. After a few days of practice, I was able to mostly clear up my nose. It felt good, better than any other nose cleaner with the exception of a long run. The technique that worked best for me is modified standard: pump water into one nostril, let it come out of the other, and blow slightly in and out while doing this to clear up the deeper passages.
One disappointment was slightly shoddy design. The speed knob is impossible to turn with a wet hand, and your hands are always wet when doing this. The water tank leaks a bit when transfering from faucet to the device. For twice the price of my Vicks Ultrasonic Humidifier, I expected much better design. I wish I took a look at Grossan Hydro Pulse® before buying this, it has a lot more honest looking reviews.
Did it cure my sinus infection? No, for that I am currently on antibiotics, it is a stubborn one. But my nose does feel a lot cleaner.
UPDATE: after using SinuPulse for 6 weeks more, my sinus infection is finally gone. I did it religiously, several times a day, multiple tanks per rinse. Now I just have a slightly stuff nose, hoping it disappears in a few weeks. I am also using plain salt, one teaspoon per tank works great, just make sure it disolves completely. The only reason to stop me from fully recommending this product is that someone is gaming these reviews. 1 day after this was posted, I got 4 thumbs down. And the rest of the reviews here look like a marketing job.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product!! Comment: Finally a product that works! I'm an active guy and I love outdoor sports (triathlon, running, mountain biking, hiking...), but sometimes my sinuses and allergies drive me CrAZy!!! I'v tried the less expensive Neti Pots but they did not work well for me at all. I got fed up with the Neti Pot and spent the exta money on the SINUPULSE, and it was the best investment I have made in a long time. If you have sinus or allergy problems, this product is PRICELESS!!
